HISTORY
Our hospital pharmacy was established in 2009. In the service process, we provide active service (uninterrupted with shift service) with our staff of 1 Chief Pharmacist, 3 Pharmacists and 10 Pharmacy technicians. In 2015, the Oncology Pharmacy was put into operation together with our main pharmacy.
LOCATION AND CAPACITY
In the workflow of our pharmacy; it is essential to meet the daily level of medications of patients receiving inpatient treatment. The determination of necessary medications together with Internal Medicine and Surgical Departments, procurement processes, stocking, dispatch and administration of medications to patients are carried out by the Pharmacy. Chemotherapy pharmacy, serum warehouse and our cold room have been created to preserve cold chain medications as part of the main pharmacy.
Inpatient service medications are provided from the hospital pharmacy, and serums are provided from our warehouse. Antineoplastic treatments are provided from the Chemotherapy Pharmacy to cover both outpatients and inpatients.
PHARMACY OPERATION
The purpose is to ensure and manage the correct, error-free and timely implementation of the processes related to the procurement, ordering, storage, preservation, preparation, and internal distribution of drug demands of units serving inpatients and chemotherapy treatments in our hospital pharmacy. In all pharmacy operation processes, it is ensured that medication and treatment services are provided quickly without compromising patient and employee safety principles.
