HISTORY
Our hospital warehouse was established in 2008 in accordance with the movable property regulation pursuant to Article 44 of Law No. 5018. It started to be used actively in 2009. Our department currently serves with 7 main warehouses, 1 additional warehouse, 1 storage warehouse, 1 inspection and acceptance unit, and 4 cold storage facilities.

The warehouse department in our hospital is located in different blocks on the basement floor. It consists of 9 sections: 7 main warehouse sections, 1 medical equipment additional warehouse and 1 storage:
FIELD OF ACTIVITY
The departments in the warehouse operate under the responsibility of movable property registration control officers. Movable property registration control officers are administratively responsible to the hospital deputy director and then to the relevant deputy chief physician. Financially, movable property registration control officers are responsible to the chief physician. The purpose of the warehouse unit is to ensure the effective and beneficial use of movable materials. The warehouse unit serves all departments of our hospital.
FACILITIES
Requests from clinics, polyclinics, laboratories, and administrative units that need medicines, stationery, furniture, spare parts and durable movables to be used in all activities of our hospital are submitted to the Purchasing Commission by the warehouse unit with Material Request Forms prepared with their names, codes, specifications and required quantities, along with specifications if any, by checking the quantity, warehouse stock, previous year consumptions, last entry date and price, adding warehouse analyses, to be evaluated as the basis for purchase by the Purchasing Unit.
